FrameMorph

PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: 13 December 2025

1. Introduction

FrameMorph (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your data when you use the FrameMorph mobile application (the “App”) on iOS and Android.

By using FrameMorph, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. About FrameMorph

FrameMorph allows users to upload a sequence of personal photos and uses artificial intelligence to generate a smooth age-progression video from those photos. Users can preview and save the generated video to their device.

3. Information We Collect

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, first name and last name, unique user identifier (UID), and account creation/verification timestamps. Authentication is handled using Firebase Authentication, and profile data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore.

• User Content (Photos & Videos): To provide the core functionality, we collect photos you upload or capture (typically 3–10 images) and generate an output video from those photos. Photos and videos are stored in Google Firebase Storage under a user-specific, access-controlled path.

• Device Data & Notifications: We collect a device push notification token if you enable notifications (used for order/status updates). We may also collect basic device and app usage information via analytics tools.

• Payments & Purchases: Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We do not store your full payment details. Purchase and entitlement data is managed via RevenueCat.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Create and manage your account

Upload, process, and generate AI-powered videos

Deliver completed videos to your device

Process payments and manage entitlements

Send important notifications related to your orders

Improve app performance, reliability, and user experience

Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access

5. AI Processing & Third-Party Services

AI Video Generation: FrameMorph uses a third-party AI service to generate videos. Your uploaded photos are temporarily shared with Replicate (Kling v2.1 model) solely to generate the requested video transitions.

AI generation is probabilistic by nature. Results may vary and are not guaranteed to be perfect or error-free.

6. Service Providers (Sub-Processors)

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the App:

• Google Firebase: Authentication, database, storage, cloud functions (user profile data, photos, videos, metadata)

• Replicate: AI video generation (uploaded photos for temporary processing)

• RevenueCat: Payments and entitlements (user ID, purchase and entitlement data)

• Expo: Push notifications and updates (device push token)

All providers are required to handle your data securely and only for the intended purpose.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Active account data is retained while your account remains open.

When you delete your account, your data is archived in a secure deleted_account record for up to 30 days for legal, security, or recovery purposes. After this period, your personal data and content are permanently deleted.

You may request account deletion at any time from within the App or by contacting support.

8. Permissions

FrameMorph may request the following permissions:

• Photo Library (Read): To allow you to select photos for upload

• Photo Library (Write): To save the generated video to your device

• Camera: To capture new photos for video creation

• Notifications: To notify you about order status and updates

Permissions are only used for their stated purpose and can be managed in your device settings.

9. User Rights & Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all photos you upload. By using FrameMorph, you grant us and our AI partners a limited, temporary license to process your photos solely for generating your requested video.

We do not use your photos for advertising or training public AI models.

10. Prohibited Content

You must not upload content that:

Is illegal, abusive, or sexually explicit

Infringes on intellectual property rights

Contains images of individuals without their consent

Is intended for deepfake, impersonation, or harassment purposes

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

11. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard safeguards, including:

HTTPS (SSL) encryption for all data in transit

Encryption at rest provided by Google Firebase

Strict access control and security rules

Rate limiting on sensitive actions

While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

12. Children’s Privacy

FrameMorph is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 18 where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

13. Refunds & Payments

Due to the high computational cost of AI video generation, refunds may be limited once processing has begun. Refund requests are generally handled by Apple or Google and are subject to their policies and applicable local laws.

14. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored in servers located outside your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to such transfers in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the App with an updated effective date. Continued use of FrameMorph after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
