• Good Shot: Our App provides AI-powered golf swing analysis. Users record golf swing videos using their device camera, and our AI analyzes the video to provide technical feedback, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and offer personalized coaching tips.
• Video Analysis: The App processes your swing videos by extracting frames and sending them to OpenAI's GPT-4o Vision API for analysis. Analysis covers setup, backswing, transition, downswing, impact, and follow-through phases.
• Practice Tracking: Users can view their swing history, track progress over time, monitor average scores, and maintain practice streaks.
• Subscription Tiers: The App offers Free and Pro subscription tiers with different daily swing analysis limits.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using Good Shot, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or guardian to use the App.
• Account Registration: When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information including your email address, first name, and last name. You must verify your email address to access certain features.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, your data will be moved to our deleted_account collection. Contact us if you require complete data removal.
• Free Tier: Free accounts are limited to 3 swing analyses per day.
• Pro Tier: Pro subscription accounts receive 50 swing analyses per day.
• Daily Reset: Daily limits reset based on Melbourne, Australia timezone (AEST/AEDT).
• Trial Periods: We may offer trial periods for Pro subscriptions. Trial terms will be clearly communicated when you sign up.
• Subscription Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing and features with reasonable notice. Changes will not affect active subscription periods already paid for.
• Data Collection: We collect personal information including email, password, name, swing videos, video frames, and usage data as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
• Video Storage: Your swing videos and extracted frames are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage with public URLs. Anyone with the direct link can access these videos. You are responsible for the content of your videos.
• Third-Party Processing: Video frames are sent to OpenAI for AI analysis. OpenAI's data usage and retention policies apply to this data.
• Content Ownership: You retain ownership of all golf swing videos and content you upload to the App.
• License Grant: By uploading videos, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and analyze your videos for the purpose of providing the App's services, including sending video frames to third-party AI services.
• Analysis Ownership: The AI-generated analysis, feedback, scores, and coaching tips produced by the App are owned by us, though you have the right to view and use them for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Content Standards: You agree not to upload any content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or violates any third-party rights.
• License Grant: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
• Ownership: All content, including text, designs, graphics, code, AI models, and analysis algorithms, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
• Restrictions: You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App or any AI models used within it.
• Automated Analysis: The swing analysis and coaching tips provided by the App are generated by artificial intelligence (OpenAI GPT-4o Vision) and are provided for informational and educational purposes only.
• No Guarantee of Accuracy: We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated analysis. The AI may make errors in assessing your swing technique or providing recommendations.
• Not Professional Coaching: The App is not a substitute for professional golf instruction. The AI analysis should not be relied upon as professional coaching advice. We recommend consulting with a qualified golf instructor for serious training.
• No Liability for AI Errors: We are not responsible for any consequences arising from your reliance on AI-generated analysis or following AI-provided tips and recommendations.
• Physical Activity Warning: Golf is a physical activity that carries inherent risks of injury. By using the App to analyze and improve your golf swing, you acknowledge these risks.
• Consult Healthcare Professionals: Before beginning or modifying any exercise program, including practicing golf based on our App's recommendations, you should consult with a physician or qualified healthcare provider.
• Assumption of Risk: You assume all risks of injury that may result from using the App, following its recommendations, or practicing golf techniques suggested by the AI analysis.
• No Liability for Injuries: We are not liable for any physical injuries, damages, or losses you may sustain while using the App or practicing golf based on the App's analysis.
• Lawful Use: You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Prohibited Conduct: You shall not upload inappropriate content, attempt to circumvent usage limits, share your account credentials, interfere with the App's operation, or use the App for any commercial purpose without our permission.
• Camera Permissions: You agree to only record yourself or others who have consented to being recorded. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions before recording others.
• No Warranties: The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• Service Availability: We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or that it will be error-free. We may suspend or terminate the App for maintenance or updates without notice.
• Reliance at Your Risk: Any reliance on the App's analysis and recommendations is at your own risk. We make no representations about the suitability of the analysis for improving your golf game.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, infringement of any third-party rights, or any content you upload to the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for violating these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease, and we may delete your account data.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, except where prohibited by law.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
