Welcome to Inked Up (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the Inked Up mobile application (the “App”).
• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, first name, last name, and a unique user ID (UID) assigned by Firebase Authentication.
• User Content: This includes photos of body parts, existing tattoos, custom tattoo designs you upload, and AI-generated images produced by the App.
• Device & Usage Data: We may collect device information, app usage data, and crash diagnostics through Expo and Firebase Analytics.
• Purchase Information: Subscription status, entitlements, and transaction metadata are processed via RevenueCat. We do not store your full payment details.
We use your information to operate the App, generate tattoo visualizations, manage subscriptions, send notifications, improve features, and maintain security and fraud prevention.
Inked Up uses third-party AI services to generate tattoo previews and cover-up designs. User photos and tattoo images are sent to Replicate (model: google/nano-banana-pro) solely to perform AI image generation.
We share data with trusted service providers only as necessary:
• Google Firebase: Hosting, authentication, database, and storage
• Replicate: AI image generation
• RevenueCat: Subscription and purchase management
• Expo: Push notifications and updates
User data is retained while the account is active. When an account is deleted, the live user record and authentication credentials are removed.
A copy of account data is retained in a secure deleted_account archive for compliance and legal purposes. Archived data may be permanently purged at a later date.
Inked Up may request access to your camera, photo library, and notifications solely to provide core functionality.
Inked Up is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or older where required by law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
